🧸 KidiVerse — Privacy Policy

KidiVerse is an educational game app designed for children under 6 years old. We take children's privacy very seriously. This policy explains what information the app does and does not collect, and how third-party services are used.

Summary: KidiVerse does not collect, store, or share any personal information. The app shows only child-appropriate, non-personalized ads and is fully compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and Apple's Kids Category guidelines.

1. Information We Collect

None. KidiVerse does not collect, request, or store any personal information from users. The app:

does not require an account or registration;
does not collect names, email addresses, photos, or contacts;
does not access the microphone, camera, or location;
does not contain social media features, external links, or chat;
does not track users across apps or websites (no App Tracking Transparency prompt is ever shown, because no tracking occurs).

Game progress (such as collected stars and language preference) is stored only locally on the device and is never transmitted to us.

2. Advertising

KidiVerse shows a single banner advertisement on the main menu, served by Google AdMob. Because KidiVerse is a child-directed app, AdMob is configured with:

Child-directed treatment (COPPA) — Google is notified that all users must be treated as children;
Maximum ad content rating "G" — only ads suitable for general audiences, including young children, are shown;
Non-personalized ads only — no behavioral profiling and no use of advertising identifiers for personalization.

3. In-App Purchases

KidiVerse offers one optional purchase ("Remove Ads"). Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see or store any payment information. A parental gate (a math question that young children cannot answer) protects the purchase screen so children cannot buy anything accidentally.

4. Remote Configuration

The app uses Firebase Remote Config (a Google service) solely to check whether an app update is required. This involves no personal data — only anonymous configuration values are downloaded by the app.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

KidiVerse is designed for children under 6 and complies with COPPA. Since we do not collect any personal information from anyone, we do not collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the app's App Store listing.
